Hey ya'll i'm TSprings

TSprings is a little nickname I have using my first and last name..

 

I am an ROTC Cadet at University of Richmond and retired Football player due to injury- so I have a little more time on my hands... GO SPIDERS!

 

Since I was little I have had a passion for WWII battleships. I picked up a book probably around the 4th grade about the Bismarck and finding her wreck. Cliche, I know but its the reason I am here today and plan on being a Naval Officer one day.

 

I currently own a Tirpitz and have made it up to Cleveland (stopped), Ognevoi, Mutsuki , Konigs.

 

Wouldn't mind meeting a few people to play with.. I have never been much of an online gamer, but I really like the game and the concept!

I do believe that most of us here have a passion for WWII ships.  I know that my interest in them started when I was in grade school.  I actually think we had some people from the navy come by one day (that or I am full of crap).  Either way, nice to meet ya and good hunting!

I'm a nut when it comes to history of war and the machines involved.

 

I feel this game has so much going for it, that makes it much more enjoyable than tanks.

 

I do wonder why you have no BB's, other than Trip, in your port?

Welcome to the game, and the forums.  There is a lot of great tips to be learned here.

 

My dad was a WW2 Gunner's Mate, and he dragged us kids around to see every US warship we could tour.  We even saw his old Fletcher-class destroyer in mothballs in San Diego in the 60's.. I guess it rubbed off, because I have loved warships ever since.

 

Good Luck in ROTC.  I went the Army route in HS, graduated a CPT, and was Captain of our Rifle Team.

BBs just seem painful. I feel like I have one of the more fun ones to play ones in the Tirpitz bc its fast and adaptable. I could not imagine going 18kts in a New Mexico. Maybe ill try out the Jap BBs, they seem like great ships.
