I did about 124k and we lost.  I don't have any. Those extra Yamatos did us in.  It was actually pretty fun though.  I get why some people wouldn't mind playing World of Battleships.

Yeah, I think we're in for another Tirpocalypse.

 

The good part is now I'm one of them. I thought it would be fun to mess with my team a little at the beginning of my 4th match in it: "Do Japanese battleships have torpedoes too?" Some guy blew his stack and went after me in chat, though admitted to having been trolled after I killed a couple cruisers. Amusing, but I feel a little dirty for that stunt.

I brought my Tirpitz to ranked tonight. First game they had 4 DDs. I torped a full-health Fubuki and dodged all the enemy torps even though I kind of stopped paying attention to the map and wandered off alone close to 2-3 DDs. (The other guy decided to get out of my secondary range for some reason ) Fun fact: High Caliber is easy to get when 4 out 7 guys are DDs.

 

It's also easy when a Pensacola shows his broadside to you coming around an island at 2km. I was going to torp him, but I stopped myself in time to just shoot him instead. Hit an enemy Colorado instead with 3 of them.

 

I wonder if people are underestimating Tirpitz tonight and offering me opportunities they should never be letting me have (all my torp hits were at 5km+ which normally never happens with a single torp rack).

When Tirpitz was on sale the first time, it was pretty much 11 Tirpitz + 1 cruiser vs 11 Tirpitz +1 DD... All night long. Sucked to be that cruiser.

If I could only play 12v12 all BBs I would do it.  The HP pool is a lot higher with nothing but battleships, so everybody is more likely to do more damage and cover repair costs.
