Karma points?

How does one go about raising or lowering  the number in our profiles. This is the umber that has neutral, good etc  near it .

The points are called "reputation," people can give positive or negative points on your posts.

On the bottom right hand corner of your post / topic you can see a red and green box with an arrow, so clicking the green box on someone's post gives them a +1 and red -1

What about the stars?  How does that work (just curious)...?

When people look on your profile they can leave a rating of it, you can click how many stars you think someones profile is worth.
