It would be better and less confusing if, for example in a training room the game would show you how each of the shells bounced internally and externally while also showing you the different hitboxes on a ship. From this you can analyze the different weaknesses and strengths of a particular ship rather than leave it to educated guesses.

We need the training room so people can test ships after a patch to see whats good/bad with it. Without the training room mod the AP issue wouldn't have been so blatantly obvious when people were able to broadside any type of ship and rarely get cits. We know they plan to, because we've seen the local files and also in update release videos, we've seen the in-game Training button under the game Mode tab. Does Wargaming worry if they enable training, then people will only play that? Is it about XP? Investments? I just want to play a little co-op with my family and pick the battles. I don't mind if the training mode disables XP. That seems perfectly reasonable. I'm not interested in exploiting a training mode to get more XP or anything. I just want to pick what ships to go up against and play a custom battle once in a while. For example trying to set up a semi-historically accurate battle with US v IJN, or vice versa. Even playing against higher odds, or other interesting challenges. Me and my 2 division mates up against 8 destroyers, see if we survive. See who sinks the most. There's so much potential here. I am reluctant to do the work-around and screw my files up should there be some conflict with the next patch. I also heard some people say there was a virus with a mod that enables training mode, although others assured it's ok, just disable your virus protection?? ehh How about Wargaming just enable the mode?
