Wait, am I immune to some subliminal message somewhere that causes other people to spit out money to WG like an ATM machine or something? I just don't get how you gleefully throw your cash at WG for allowing you to slurry up the slop they are serving with this game. But anyway.

OK WG you win, it was a hard fight to drive me away. I just need to spend my 600 doubloons and I will be on my way.

I dont have a problem with aiming. Signal flags are not hard to get.. at all. Especailly with ranked battles active again. Load times arnt bad. For me anyways. I dont get lag spikes.

How do you do this?

In the Res folder is a file called engine_config.

You have to edit the following lines. Edit it out of game and then restart. it should load up faster and once youve loaded a map, you should be able to get into the next one early.

This line will say false, change it to true.

<streamCacheSizeKB>16384</streamCacheSizeKB>

This line is defaulted to 2meg (2048) I changed it to 16 and it seems to work pretty well, I may try 32 though, as I think some things get rotated out if you load enough maps.

Would there be any reason why I would need to do this in July on my AMD A10 with a GTX 960 running, my system memory16 gb of DDR 3 with a 240 gb SSD and I load in with 20-25 seconds to spare? Or how about 6 weeks ago,on the same machine yielding the exact same results?

 

How about we mix things up, just for the sake of some "fun" shall we? Not hypothetically, but quite literally, I drop just a hair over $2,500 on a self built system (post 5.1, but pre 0.5.1.1) and change from the AMD A10 processor line to an Intel built. This one consists of an i7 6700k, GPU is a GTX 980 TI, my system memory is currently 32gb [2 x 16] of DDR4 with a 500gb SSD. Yet, I load just as fast as I did on the other system, which is still 20-25 seconds prior to the match starting. In essence, I am sitting around waiting for others to load in.

 

You might think it's my internet. I'm on a "rural" cable connection that is fairly spotty and consists of a 110 download and a 10 upload. They (the company) are firm believers of the 80% policy agreement as well. That being that they only guarantee 80% of what I am paying for and that is only what they are liable for by law, we can all thank the leniency some of state laws for that. lol None the less, "load times" are on the user end and if it's "the internet" that would still be on the players end as the players ISP is their own, not WG's. 

 

As Legendary said, if everyone else has moved before you OP, how is it WG's fault? How is everyone else able to move except you? Perhaps asking for suggestions on a fix or performing some maintenance on your hard drive/s IE disk clean, then defrag (it's ok to get rid of the windows.old files so long as you have files you want either already transferred from a previous installation or backed up when performing a clean disk). Why people are suggesting modifying their files and then modifying them even more is beyond me. Modifying something won't fix it, it may change a few things, but it will only temporarily change those for you OP. That is until the next time they patch the game. So if you want to chase your tail in a never ending cycle, by all means follow that advice, I wish you luck, but please don't complain on the forums because you chose to alter your game system files and screwed the pooch by doing so.

 

Moving forward, you've provided no information on your system and nothing more than a broad stroke rant that "everyone falls into my category". Well, I don't and plenty of people don't as well. As I stated, I twirl my thumbs waiting for people to load in. You, yourself have even stated that after you finally load in, people have already engaged, yet, you fail to even see the failure of your own statement that the problem is your own and that other people don't have this problem. Some do, but not all. I am not saying that no one does, but not everyone does. So relax. WG is not out to get you, but you do need to take care of your system. Know your system and do some maintenance.

 

With every patch, game, Windows, whatever. With every major file movement, this includes file deletion etc. There needs to be a system defrag on a HDD. I honestly can tell, just by how some people post and their words on what types of systems they have. The key words being, "with every patch the game just gets slower and slower. WTH WG, why oh why are you out to get *me*?!?!" And every one of them have one thing in common, a hard drive. After a few posts of finally digging through and digging down to have them cough up that a system is a little older (not dogging that in the least, so don't get me wrong), but it boils down to the CPU, which isn't that big of a deal, but the HDD, which in and of itself isn't a huge deal. But an HDD that is left alone and hasn't been maintained is a huge liability in the resources department. After I walk through what I just did with the disk clean, (it's ok to delete the windows.old yada yada yada), defrag, perform a check momory, guess what, no more complaints from those posters....

 

After all that, all the WG is out to get me, you don't know nuttin speeches, you would think one person on the interweebz (ya spelled intentionally juvenile) would have come back to gloat about not loading in any faster. Nope, not one has come back.

Hahaha...you can't save a mindless WG zealot!

Funny how my buddy was gawd aweful to load patch 0.5.1.1 and I just loaded in with 14-20sec to spare and he loaded in 1 - 2 min after start....hahahaha and this patch 0.5.1.2, it's me loading in late and hes loading in with 12 - 20 seconds left. Wonder how we managed that. Maybe he called my internet co and told them to do it. Or he gave me a virus or shut off my weekly defrag. Just edited that file and there was no fix to the load in first time out. But I did notice a reduction in the FPS lag and the constant stutter. I had been being forced to shut the game down every so often because the stutter just got so bad and a game restart would fix it for a time. 

Oh and I use a standard 7200rpm HD...would you recommend that people with this problem running SSD defrag? I would think you do since you claim to have one on your system.

I'm in denial that it's not good enough mode.

I'm no longer having a big issue getting in late, but thanks for your concern.

You clearly don't read the forums, or know what's going on in the game, so how were you intending to help?  Defrag? Win 10 defrags weekly by default...but then you being a genius, you already knew that...right?

Or were you suggesting going out and buying a new gaming rig to play a somewhat problematic ftp game?

God dude you are a piece of work...lol dell? Who said dell? I have a real gaming machine. Real in the sense that it's an I-7/ Corsair water cooled CPU, gigabyte MB, 12gigs Kingston ram with heatsinks and a ram fan, Corsair TX 750 watt PS, EVGA 4 gig 970 GT and I should have NO problem making this WG piece of crapgame run. I am glad you are done helping because you are not helping at all.

Oh and W/T/F is CS? Counter Strike? Caught Stealing? Creative Suite? Christian Science? Civil Support?
