all my tech trees have completely disappeared after last update

after the last update all my tech trees for all nations have disappeared with no way to find or open them.....also the ability to open up the ship research and upgrades is gone also.....what happened ?

Someone thought it would be a bright idea to make you have to play until account level 2 before you can see ship modules and tech trees.

 

Because, you know, those things are complicated, and god forbid you might want to look them to decide what nation and line to play before that.
