Don't quit the game just because the Karlsruhe is the worst ship tier for tier in the game. If you can, free XP it. If you can't free XP it, then you'll have to endure the grind. I feel bad for everyone who doesn't have the money for the gold to free XP trash like this.

IMO, I'd buy the gold and then get the required free XP via an elite ship you enjoy and do well in. The premium isn't needed unless you want to accumulate that XP at a faster rate.

Don't stop now!  The next two ships are pretty good.  I cant speak for the rest of the line I'm only at tier 6 on that line myself, but I hear the rest are pretty good as well.  Though they are all pretty much glass cannons and the HE is pretty weak.

in my opinion you need to take your time and not rush in a battle some times its best to give support then be on front line. communicate, pick your targets and not let them pick you. and , and rush to buy the next ship. try and max out the xp. . I hope this helps you and hope to see on the high seas  good hunting

The grind is tough.  The ship is slow for a light cruiser, and the engine and steering gears take damage constantly.  I've seen some players do well using her despite this.  Next in line is the Konigsberg and she is much better.  She still has an extremely fragile engine and steering gear.  It is unwise to ever show your broadside to the enemy.

The trade off is Konigsberg's guns.  I am more accurate with these guns than with any other ship I've used.  In fact, I hardly play my Fuso, Nagato, or Kuma anymore. I've researched the Nurnberg which is the following tier and have found that I'm low on credits - so know that you are not alone.

The Karlsruhe has 4 or 6k torpedoes. You have an 18% hit rate which is a great hit rate but it also may mean you are way too close in that ship to survive. Try staying at distance and shooting those accurate guns from further away. The guns can shoot 11.7k with the Module upgrade and further with captain skills. Don't brawl in that boat so you can live longer and do more damage.

i bet Myogi is a hell of a lot worse to play, IMO......Op i felt the same way, but its only a game,,,,Have Fun and dont take it so seriously....I heard/read the ship after that is badass...as is the case with my Myogi......sometimes in life u have to step thru the crap to get to the gold(or something like that):amazed:

Buy whatever ship is after that with credits earned from other ships

Its a tier 4. grind it out in 15 battles and sell it. Or just do what everyone else has done so far and free exp past it.

But If your really impatient enough to quit the game over a trash tier cruiser, this may not be the game for you anyway.

Yes, one of my favorite battleships. If someone cant perform in a Myogi, they should probably give up on BBs IMO.

5000xp away from getting rid of this piece of junk. The German tree will most likely be the first, where I sell everything once the Konigsberg is purchased. No way I see moments of nostalgia and play with tier I to IV again :playing:

I rather like the Konigsberg. The Nurnberg has been fun and I am sure I will enjoy it as much [edited]the KBerg once I play her more. Friend of mine is grinding up to the Kberg and he is on the Karlsruhe as well. It's a crappy ship. Think of it as penance for all the great fun you will have in the Kberg and laugh it off!!!

i feel the same abour ru dd, sold t2, t3 and will sell t4 ru dd

storojevoi and derpski are just suffering, izy isn't actually bad, but she is way too slow and her torps are way too slow, it's no competition to clemson, even though her rof is amazing and guns are ~decent, i dueled and killed an almost whole phoenix 1v1 with guns my last game as izy (actually i thought my team would help me but they didn't and i had to kill her myself... couldn't flee from the damn phoenix), well i used the smoke fire too

It's a deceiving ship. I didn't like it a whole lot either, but when comparing it to the Wyoming, which I felt I did a lot better in, the stats were really similar.

I think my biggest issue with the Myogi were the number of overpens.
