I swear DDs don't get enough benefits from fulfilling their roles, like capping, torping, and spotting.  Same thing with CVs; they don't get enough xp from shooting down tons of planes/getting clear skies; BBs, especially Americans, don't get much to do if the enemy has a bunch of DDs and no BBs to shoot at... WG BALANCE BETTER. This is all I'm asking for.

 Minimal damage in NY and got only 174 base xp for not getting to shoot at much besides a Mutsuki...

I disagree.  A number of non-damage inflicting but very important things aren't rewarded enough.  On 3-4 cap Domination map, a DD can do a LOT to help the team win, but if he hasn't done much actual damage that "winning reward" is going to be rather small comfort for his efforts.  Also, if the game doesn't reward these pro-team work, pro-winning, but non-damage things sufficiently, all it ends up doing is incentivize players to chase damage at the expense of those other things.  And that should be seen as a BAD THING.

Hit some pple ,


 

        You don't have to miss out on xp and credits because your the only BB in the game,   devastate those cruisers with AP.

        Land some torpedo hits with your DD.   Don't just cap and say well I did my job.   8 Topedoes launched and 0 impacts.

        Stop loading out all fighters and bombers,   CV is more usefull when it is launching torpedo bombers.   You cant expect to earn in a CV if all you do is defend.

I've always advocated rewarding damage done for planes shot down. Maybe something like 1400 damage per plane shot down. This would translate into XP and money gain and completey validate fighter loadouts. 

 

Nothing to say about the bb issue you have.

 

Rewards for capping are being implemented already

In not in any way saying your a bad player, you have good stats.     But stick to what works.

Just because there are already rewards for capping does NOT mean that they're rewarded sufficiently!!!

 

There are already rewards for shooting down planes, and yet you want them to increase them.  So the concept of increasing an already existing reward should not be foreign to you.  :P

Firing HE and with a couple of well aimed salvos a BB can delete a DD before its captain has time to even [edited] themselves. Though, in 5.1 WG is going to be increasing XP for capturing! 

 

Now, if they'd add a spotting mechanic and some extra XP or incentive for CA's who provide escort we'll be in decent shape.

Every plane shot down is equal to 2.5% of the CV that launched it.. That should certainly be increased to 4-5%.

There is zero xp given for spotting and that is a crime against all players regardless of what ship they are in.. But especially DDs...

There is a compliment button for players to use in game during battles, that should have an xp multiplier of 20-30% to the players xp also..

This would allow players to compliment and help out CLs that spend the game providing AA support, DDs for spotting, BBs for tanking for the team, etc...

Well, the thing, on my BB, is all those cruisers were on the other side of the map... so I didn't really get a chance to shoot at much.  Only ONE went east on that map but he was too far out of my range to hit properly. IOW, they lemminged west while I went east.

For my DD, I was against ships 2 tiers higher so those HE shells would hurt, and it's Ocean; there's no cover so it's extremely difficult to hit any ship w/ 5.5 km range torps.  The best you could do is route the enemy or stall their advance, and I did the former which won the game since they were all extremely slow in advancing towards our cap.  Run up to them you say? Well have fun trying to get close with 39 knts max with speed boost... they'll have swung their guns around by the time you get within 4km range because your surface concealment is large af (7.6km).

In CV, you DESERVE xp for defense.  Also, it's a mind game when it comes to loadouts; "What if the enemy has fighter loadout but I have bomber loadout? Then he'd render me useless! What if the enemy loaded bombers and I loaded fighters? I'd have a job!" CV ISN'T MORE USEFUL when launching torp bombers; it IS useful but not MORE useful.  It's as useful as it is defending allied ships; if you prevent the enemy from torping your BBs, then you're doing it right with aerial defense. This is the biggest problem when it comes to CVs.
