It's the Kolberg.

 

Good lord this ship stinks!!!

 

The only decent thing about it is its high rate of fire. But when it takes 24 hits to destroy a DD, you know you've got a loser on your hands.

 

Ordinarily I place in the top third of ranking in most battles, but with this ship and its micro-guns, I have been consistently placing in the bottom half - even with high hit ratios.

Let's start with the good: My hit ratio. (It was my rotten luck to end up on the side of the map with two higher tier BBs as my opponents)

 

Wait, does that actually say you hit one ship over 200 times and didn't sink it?!? Yep.  (the other BB was a 'luck' kill - other people did way more damage to it than I did) And if you think I should have been using AP, you are sorely mistaken. I would have actually done a LOT less damage against these armored, higher tier battleships (would have had tons of bounced shots considering the severely underpowered Kolberg guns).

 

Well with that high hit ratio, you must have at least ranked well for the battle. Nope.

 

Bottom half ranking.

 

Still, you put on a good fight, at least you were rewarded for all that work...

 

Yeah...and that was with the victory add and a base capture too.

 

The Kolberg stinks to high heaven.

but ya, the T3&4 cruisers looked bad enough on paper i skipped them both. i actually tried a few battles in the T3, but it was straight to the konigsberg after that.

It has guns that actually do damage...and torps...and AA.

 

 

It may be pretty mediocre compared to other ships...but OMG...it is SOOOOOO much better than that stench pile called the Kolberg.

nah, all it does is boost bomber damage by about 10000x

Played a few battles in the tier 3 just to see how it did... then free-XP'ed straight to tier 5.

What I really, really, really want to know (especially after a couple battles over this past weekend).  Is why oh why do tier 1 and tier 2 German cruisers have any AA at all as the matchmaker *should NEVER be pairing those ships in a battle with a cv, but when you hit tier 3 and have the possibility of having cv (and all those aircraft) you have NO AA!  I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually spent exp to upgrade the modules on that steaming pile instead of just bypassing it.

Yup it stinks up the joint.   Your results were from a co-op battle.   Can't compare the co-op XP with random.
