I hope WG know this, but I did a quick search for aim assists.  Found more than one website offering many aim assists for money and some for free.  The free one was updated two days ago.  Not sure what they can do to counter this, but hope they can.

Probably just virus/scams.

Download it and let us know how it works?

At the expense of their computer.

Most likely so, considering the nature of those...websites.

Sadly while most are suspicious at best there was a documented working one not long ago. We need someone with a spare computer to check this out.

In CBT, they did a patch that broke aim assist mods by removing the Alpha code. Yes, Alpha phase had at 1 time aim assist.

Through experience it is not needed, just hit at key and you get all the info you need.

At the risk of getting verbally abused here. I for one have lost my temper in games and openly got mouthy about this subject (not proud of it btw). I can not stand any form of cheating even if the dev's believe an aim assist is or is not. I come here for fun and relaxation, not to be abused. Having said that, someone please explain to me how a Murmansk is hitting me with every salvo, but obviously not every shell, from 20+K out? I have the ship and maybe my captain is not quite that experienced, but come on, some BBs' can't hit from that range, let alone a CA, light or heavy. I know it was this ship and the guy says he has a commander level 8 when I asked how the %#@* he was hitting me. This is not the only one or time, but the most obvious one to me. If there is a viable explanation, please enlighten me. Thanks

Actually it wasn't removed as the bots and the torpedo aim both use that code, they just changed the game code so it could not be reactivated. The newer ones are doing most of the work on their own but still need information such as speed and distance from the client.

Hmm, well, mine says 14.8 range. Not sure how you get another 7Ks' out of it and that's what I want to know

One of the Murmansk's special attributes is it has  a spotter aircraft instead of a fighter. I don't know exactly how much of an increase the spotter provides, but it definitely provides a few kilometers of extra range.

I do not know the exact range of it with my spotter plane in the air but it is something like 19 or so km. I have almost 200 games played in my Murmansk as it is a credit generating machine and I frequently hit ships at that range with my spotter launched. In fact with a limited amount of time you have with the plane up I will look for ships cruising straight broadside to me and target them.

Granted, I am just an average player but I do fairly well in the Murmansk and really enjoy playing it. It is not hard to hit ships at that range at all tbh.

Also Advanced Firing Training, which with the spotter plane gives you a 21km range

There is a tier 4 captain skill that grants 20% range to all guns 155mm or smaller.  When you launch the spotter plane, its adds 20% on top of that.  Base range for Murmansk is 14.8km.  Assuming that the multipliers don't stack, you get a minimum maximum range with the skill and spotter plane of 20.72km.  If the multipliers stack, you'll get a range of 21.31km.  Someome who has played the Murmansk long enough to get that 4th tier skill is probably experienced enough in that ship to hit you from any angle and be damn accurate with his shots.

TLDR: You got outplayed by someone more skilled and more experienced than you.

a game which allows mods have a hard time to fight some of them not touching the other ones

also wg devs said they don't belive aim assist is a serious problem

p.s. if you are hit at 20km it's 100% your fault, you could evade those shots while they fly
