Need a better matchmaking maybe?

I was in a tier I/II battle and nearly half of my teammates were using Chikuma. It turned out to be a... slaughter, as foreseen. They sunk our ships at nearly no cost. The Chikuma times were nightmare to me at least...

So how does the matchmaking work? Does it consider only ship tiers? Or maybe includes upgrades, mods, captain perks? After all, the stats of a new ship sometimes are far behind a fully upgraded one. Taken into account gamer experience, some matches are quite imbalanced.

Perhaps it will be better when there are more players?

Anyway, this is a great game! I love it!

Chikuma is T2 so it really makes sense for it to be in the T1/2 battles. It you are having such a hard time, develop a little more skill and strategy.

And population makes a big difference in MM too, ask the high tiers about that, 7x7 and such not uncommon. As population increases they will tweak MM, patience grasshopper.

Well when I asked suggestions on Chikuma, they said just stay away from that one... I know my skills need to be improved since I'm new to this game, but I can sometimes get 5 kills, and maybe 2 on average for most time, with other tier I/II ships... Perhaps for a beginner level ship, its firing rate it's quite slow, which brings a hard time for new players.

And BTW, instead of complaining, I'm just trying to make 10 posts to enable private msg ;P  So, great jobs on this game XD
