So last night in the wee hours of the early morning I set sail in my wallet warrior pellet packing Tirpitz to get one last x2.  The starting conditions where good, a tier VIII match with one CV each with two cap circles.  I start in the south towards the west side and proceeded westward with engines at full speed.

The opponents appeared one by one, first and New Mexico flowed by a pair of cruisers and a destroyer.  I delivered and citadel to one the cruisers on my first salvo, and he was quickly finished by one of my teammates.  Once the New Mexico was clear of the island I began landing shot after shot on her.  During the same time the CV spotted two cruisers and a battleship going down the gap.  While knocking the New Mexico down I pinged the map to raise awareness but only cruiser seemed to take notice.

While I was on the far west of the map I charted an intercept course to meet them as they emerged on our cap.  I finished the New Mexico off and proceeded at flank speed.  We had what appeared to be sufficient forces to deal with what was left on that side. Our loan defender a fellow wallet warrior in an Atago put up valiant fight but was vanished.  I quickly started putting up heavy fire on the two Cleveland who had emerged from the pass.  One continued due the south the other headed west.  I spit my fire between them as they gained cover behind the islands.  I finished the south bound Cleveland and my teammates to the west finished the other one just as a lightly damaged Colorado came on our cap.  His health dwindled quickly as we focused our fire on him and finished him.

They still had forces to the west but their forces to the east where in full retreat so I proceed between the Brothers with a Cleveland in my wake.  Then their CV launched a strike in the pass and managed to squeeze his torps in the 600m gap between the island and my ship scoreing 3 hits.  After repairs and health regeneration I was at half health fortunate really.  One of their Cleveland had circled back from the east and was on our cap again, I took what I had hoped to be killing blow at him but it only knocked him down to 3000 hp without another clear shot I proceeded north, we still had a half health Aoba to deal with him and our CV.

The Cleveland and myself went on to face a healthy North Carolina and Destroyer.  The Cleveland and the destroyer killed each other while our CV landed some torps on the NC.  This fight was manageable now I fire a salvo and launched torps.  I scored one torpedo hit and finished him with guns, two salvos later.  A very beat up Mogami that was to the far west was finished shortly thereafter.

At this point they had a CV and one very weak Cleveland left.  We had a CV an Aoba and myself on their cap but were winning on cap points.  With the help of our CV's fighters I survived the CV's strike on me.  Then the unthinkable happen the Cleveland destroyed our Aoba and put them up in cap points.  As the clock counted to two seconds we had about 99% of their cap when the match ended with them having a less than a 10 cap point lead.

Are you !@#$ing kidding me, a match where I got 16 air kills in a Tirpitz and took at least 4 torpedo hits talk about a close match.

I once had a draw by half a second. It was completely my fault because I fired my final salvo barely too late.

I thought that this was going to be a tale of an encounter with the infamous "dispenser of torpedo justice against wallet warriors" known as frumpylumps.
