Not really. I did try WoT after it first came out.  Played one match, got obliterated, never played again. OH HAI! Sovelis here. I play a variety of stuff. Shooters, RPGs, MMOs, and RTS mostly. HUGE history nerd. Followed a bunch of my SWTOR guildmates over here during this summer's exodus from that game and got hooked. Got tier fours and fives fives and working on a few sixes now. You can usually find me talking smack in chat and making suicide runs with my DDs. Good luck and fair seas!

My first wargame was Panzerblitz from AH.  It was at the Chess Club in Junior High (very nerdy), never looked back!

Company of Heroes for me with the historical based World War interest.   I think a naval aspect to that game would be really cool, but I digress.

I absolutely loved the first CoH. Wasn't a big fan of the second iteration though. If you're looking for some good historical naval combat,  I'd recommend Empire: Total War. I've put countless hours into TW games and Empire has, by far, the best naval combat.

Big TW fan myself, although the last Rome had me screwy for a long long time. I agree with the Empire comment to an extent. It was a blast, but I only have that and this to go by.

MechWarrior 2, 3, 4 -  Freelancer by Digital Anvil, Silent Service II - some of my favorites.  Never played a Naval Sim with such a large population as WoWS.
