Situational Awareness only tells you when you're spotted, not when your about to run into an island...???  You should know that.

 

 Use your right mouse button more often in between firing.  It is great for being able to look around at surroundings without losing your tracking/aim on a target.

when your in an intense fight with a dd captain who is putting pressure on you and you need to keep your guns on him you dont have time to right click

my idea is sound and easily doable..........i know about right click dont help much in battle except keep your guns in the wrong spot

hate to break it to you, but it takes less than half a second to right click and pan your screen a bit.  There's also looking at your mini-map which takes a split second and will show you anything you might run into.  This game is in no way so intensive at any moment you can not spare even 1 second to look around your ship.  Think of fast paced games like Counter-strike and Starcraft where your seriously engaged to a degree where looking away for a second can cost you the game, yet those people manage to check the mini-map all the time mid fights...

some island are so small they dont appear on mini map.....some island are not on minin map either

Ummmm quick question for you.  If you have to look at your front mounted camera window, and take your eyes off what ever it was you were doing.  How is that any different from looking at your Mini-Map mounted window, which shows islands and your ship running into them?

 

Pretty sure every island shows up unless you have outdated Mods for your minmap.  Also  have you enlarged your mini-map?

Picture yourself driving without mirrors no side mirrors or rear facing mirror in your car..........it ONLY takes a second to turn your head around and look at your blind spots and yet crapstill happens no matter the intensity......

My car does not have a third person view...  So kind of irrelevant.  Mini-map is your friend, as is paying attention to your surroundings before, during and after you decide to turn violently to deal with a pesky DD.

Am I understanding this right. You want another window in addition to the minimap to show what is in front of your ship, because you don't have time to look at the minimap in combat? I'm genuinely confused at the logic here...

Also  have you enlarged your mini-map?

 

This.  

 

The default keys for changing the mini-map size are the + and - by the numerical pad.  I have mine on either the largest or second largest setting and have never had a problem with running into islands or allies as long as I occasionally give it a quick glance.  I don't even bother with the "right click between every salvo" habit unless my ship has a 15+ second reload time.  A front-facing camera mod would only further clutter up the screen IMHO.

it already takes "ZEROS SECONDS?" to look and the "FRONT MOUNTED MM VIEW"

I mean COME ON MAN..... seriously??

You DO realize that RIGHT clicking to look around you KEEPS THE GUNS WHERE YOU HAD THEM, so you can virtually fire from expanded right click view and if he is still going straight, you can fire...

and if he is still going straight then what the hell are you complaining about..... he aint moving he aint good

you do realize that in a second your guns could be another 2 seconds of aiming away when you right click oh and when you right click the view is where you are aiming meaning you still have to turn your mouse to the forward direction and then back again to go back to re aiming

When you release the RMB, the camera snaps back to where your guns were originally aimed.

When you release the RMB, the camera snaps back to where your guns were originally aimed.   

 

but your guns lock thus adding another 2 seconds of aiming on the dd especially if he is dodging

As I have mentioned either a mod or officially this will make things easier for ppl...........basically any mod you have I could say the same things your saying right now about my suggestion........

I GIVE UP..... YOU are obviously playing the game ENTIRELY WRONG.... that is my take on this entire post. (Although still chuckling, all the way to work, and here now and had to check in)
I have been playing the SAME game, with the same issues of a lot going on, but still always manage to be able to 1-check MM while in sniper mode,2-RMB my surroundings after a shot (or even "Shift" out of sniper to do so, thus perhaps finding a more valuable target, 3-Checking MM again, JUST to be sure, and finally 4-going BACK on target and firing again... and GET THIS.... I do ALL that in under 2.5 seconds..... ONE POINT FIVE SECOND MORE thatn YOU suggest it takes to do ONE other thing... whilst all I do is FOUR things....

You are playing WRONG.....
Maybe get in the CO-OP games and work on it... hell I would help if I could.... but I am too busy checking my MM



AND WOW, I checked, and your stats are better than mine with close to the same amount of games, yet I aint [edited]about hitting islands... and I prolly do THAT more than you too....
WOW, just WOW.... of all the things to [edited]about, you [edited]about the thing you can do almost NONE of the times you play.....

As they should.  At least they remain at the same zoom level and position relative to the target you were locked on to.  Making adjustments from there isn't that hard, but I too prefer to stay "tunnel visioned" if my target of choice is an actively maneuvering DD.  Makes it easier to keep track of his movement pattern and catch him at an optimal angle.  Just increase the size of your minimap and glance at it for a split second every now and then to maintain enough situational awareness for the time being.
