Don't get too excited about it. The Rusty Tin Can, as I call it, is junk. It's detection range is a full kilometer farther than a Clemson and the gun turrets take forever and a day to rotate. You don't get any XP while using this DD either.

It's alright. Not OP, but all the the tier VI DDs are meh. Torps are good vs other DDs. Guns are pretty decent, but your not going to sink cruisers or BBs with them because the firepower rating is low. Seems like it has potential and a rush and torp DD. It's really fast and the torps are really fast, but range is only 4km.

 

It's interesting. It's different than the other DDs, Less of a gunboat role, more of a snipe and run role. I think it's good for hanging around the edges until it sees an opportunity, then it rushes right in. 

 

The reason it can't gunboat is the detection, rudder, and it can get citadeled as I found out. So it's not a firestarter like a US DD would be. It IS good at DD hunting though. I run AP only cause I could still take off like 2000 per salvo with it that way when you are firing futher out.

It really doesn't look like the Ruski DDs get good until tier 7 at the least.

 

With AFT you get 14.4km range and your own detection range when you shot is 11.7km, 11,5km if you use the camo that cost 8k silver. 

When you get in range you can shot all day and there is nothing the enemy can do about it. 

 

Biggest problem i found with it is that the modules and made of paper, if you get spotted and you take a hit you will lose your engine and your turrets are also very weak, you will lose them if anyone shot at you.

OK so are they ever going to let this thing make coin and XP if not then what is the point of having this ship other than a free slot?

And you will only have it for another 4 days or so before both are replaced by starter KM/VMF ships.
