More so, me trying to figure out what can or will be done in these situations. Ive come across 3 divisions in the past week... fellow clan members, out to ruin game experiences. The latest with a combined 3 team kills, laughing at the fact that they do it on a regular basis and wont see any kind of penalty from WG. I realize the in game system is useless for this situation. It also seems that saving screenshots and replays to submit them in a support ticket will bring limited action. My questions here... and although I do want to hear from other players... I would like input from a moderator on the issue. 1-What is being done when proof is shown that divisions go into battle with the sole intent of trolling and killing allied ships, insulting and laughing at the prospect of getting banned? 2-Is this becoming an accepted behavior? 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I'm sorry but the customer service support system is a joke. Yeah....we're thinking the same thing. I'm hearing horror stories about players killing hundreds of team mates and nothing happening. At some point I'd really like to verify if anything happens at all. I saw a fail division DD TK *4* team mates about a week ago. Nothing happened and he just laughed. Ever. And nor do we have an in-game way to police our own. And there is no way to meet with these players face-to-face and give them the spanking their father should have been giving them. And there's no way to stop the progressive wave sweeping this country and many others like a plague that encourages entitlement and shirking responsibility. There is, however, one solution: Think about all the self-destructive choices they must have made all their life to be at such a low point that the only way they can squeeze out any sense of joy is griefing and trying to make others feel the pain they feel every day, the pain that makes them feel they have to lock themselves in a vault just to feel precious. Take solace in knowing that unless they change their behavior, their values and their thought processes, they will never, ever achieve anything of value in real life because 80% of success in both personal and business areas are based on emotional intelligence. Self-discipline, humility, empathy, respect, conflict resolution, responsibility, accountability... etc. All the things you don't find on a resume. They'll rationalize and throw out the "It's just a game" card which people only ever do when justifying poor behavior. They'll say it has no reflection of who they are in RL but that's a total lie. You have to be a jerk to treat others bad whether you do it face-to-face or behind a screen. Take solace in knowing that we need people like them. Because if everyone had common sense and did the right thing, it would be much harder to make money off people. They are the suckers that smart people feed off of. Girls might like a bad boy until they develop self-esteem and get proper perspective and become a woman only the best of men can attract, but these cowards aren't even bad boys because they hide behind the safety of anonymity making them the lowest form. When you put it all in perspective, you no longer feel anger when they grief, if anything you will feel pity that they haven't yet figured out how to be someone of worth. You no longer have your temperature rise and your heart rate increase. Because you realize that the last thing you want to give them is the pleasure of knowing they are living rent free in your head. That's what they feed on. Don't reply to them in chat, you'll always lose in their mind no matter what you say or do. They are masters at rationalization and will twist anything and everything you say to suit their ends making it impossible to reason with them. They are masters at rationalization because they've spent their entire life using it as a coping mechanism to deflect from the reality of all their bad decisions. Engaging them in any way just gives them a door to go through. They're trapped in deep depression to such a low that they can actually derive pleasure out of other peoples' pain. Nobody likes shaming for whatever reasons, maybe that's the answer though. Start a thread on the forums with some sort of proof and let the community take action, since that is apparently WGs answer. If the players that continually do It get smoked at the beginning of a match they will stop, or the forums will become a mess and WG will have to do something. Yeah. They read it and deleted it and are annoyed at you for wasting their time in reporting the incident. You're better off using the report feature in game for them to ignore completely. That way they don't have to acknowledge you and have your name on their list of known troublemakers who waste their time. Second you need to realize something else. You get Tked - you get your money back and they have to pay for it. This process works pretty well. The only time I see TK's happen are accidents. You get Tked - you get your money back and they have to pay for it. This process works pretty well. The only time I see TK's happen are accidents. If it is happening - just know - they can't keep it up for long - they will run out of credits. The first thing you need to realize is that some people put money and time into this game and its community, they want to see the game and player base flourish... and dont take it lightly when people join divisions with the sole intent of trolling low tiers and doing 3-5 TK's each battle... Then insulting people the entire length of the battle. Its a toxic atmosphere that will drive new players away. I have also gotten INCREDIBLE results from the Support Ticket system. Not for reporting players, I just blacklist them after the match and you won't ever have to be around that specific player again. I've yet to come across one a single player on my blacklist. Just a matter of remembering and searching for the name in Port. I even like to click "send mesasage to_____" or whatever just to tell them THANK YOU for outting yourself from that miserable curmudgeon closet and relieving me of ever having to run into you again; then blacklist. In 1600 games - I have never seen a division roll into a game with the sole intent on destroying their team. I've seen some Tkers but they are exceptionally rare. In fact - none of them were even pink. None of the pinks I've seen have actually TKed in my games ether. Personally - I'd much prefer they do nothing - so when I accidentally tk someone in a fluke accident or because I didnt see them crashing into me before it was too late - I don't get banned. Last thing we need to do is have bans start going out because of accidental tks. How are they gonna tell the difference? Watch the game? Nope...Screen shots? Heard of Photoshop? The system we have in place is fine. Maybe increase the fine for killing an ally - or have it increase each game it occurs. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It would be simple to virtually eradicate it with a few simple, automatic features. For example: - If you hit an ally more than twice with guns - If you hit an ally with torpedoes from more than 1 spread - If you kill an ally On your first offense your damage is automatically set to 100% reflect for 24 hours, you pay 200% of any damage you do in penalties to WG, and you pay the ally's entire repair bill. For each subsequent offense within 1 month your period of reflected damage and your fines double. That's just off the top of my head, but I think it would work. The key is that it has to be instant and automatic, with none of this submit-a-screenshot, make-a-mod-complaint, never-see-a-resolution [edited]. If you TK the game automatically makes your victim whole, punishes you for being careless and/or a [edited], and stops you from doing any more griefing. Simple.
