I Finally have a SLIGHT understanding into WG's intellect

Wednesday was x2 exp...started at 8:00 PM Wed for me, and ended at 8:00 AM Thursday...I guess in their time zone Wednesday is only 12 hours in an otherwise 24 hour period if you live ANYWHERE else on planet Earth!!!

 

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? Or is this normal thinking there?

Someone today said it was for Putin's birthday. To be honest, I'm to lazy to look it up, but in that battle we had a good laugh about how "Komrad Putin kills tiger with bare hands, Komrad Putin doesn't ride horse, he ride bear, etc."

 

Edit- Curiosity got the best of me. It was indeed his Birthday on the 7th of October.

I don't hate Russia at all. Russia has a rich history starting from Scandinavian Colonization, including the Prinicpality of Rus, the Kievan Rus, etc. There is a difference in hating a country and poking fun. Like when I hear someone say "Hamburger's should be the national food of America." Or we say things like "We are gonna bomb you with Liberty". It's not hating a country, it's poking fun at it.

I had it available from 8am ET ( I live in Ohio ) ; but only for the 2 premium ships I did not play Tuesday night after the server update .  Letting us know about it Tuesday would have been nice ( after all who wouldn't like getting x2 twice for all there ships ) .

I do hate Russians, but mostly due to them causing unrest to certain regions and well threatening to blow people up. but hey, at least their killing the terrorists, our army's sitting on its a$$ right now doing nothing.

I mock everything. So I don't mock anything. Savvy? Everything is equal in my mocking. Though mocking isn't the right word... poking fun at as I used before? I do the same to America, Germany, Japan, Britain, France, Italy, Spain, Iran, China, Korea, Somalia, really anything. If you can't have humor in your life and laugh at the bad, then it's gonna be a sad life.

Yeah, reading back over this that could very well happen. I have three rules I bind myself for being on online forums/games.

1: No talking about religion, unless historically (Aztec, Maya, Zoroarstrianism etc... rarely talk about them but interesting).

2: No talking about politics: Ruins friendships, leads to flame wars- and I got dangerously close here- thanks for the save.

3: No being a jerk.

This too. Again I don't hate any country. At ALL. I hate the government of Germany from about 1930-1945 (Hindenburg was horrid even before that Chancellor). I had the French Government circa 1918-1919. I hate many others. If you have to absolutely hate a country, don't hate the people simply the political entity. 

 

Pretty much ,the people tend not to be the entity that requires negative attention, most of the time its the government or people leading the masses of the countries that are more deserving directed negative attention towards. Yes, sometimes the people are tricked into believing a certain belief that isn't for the better, but who is to blame here? the people, or the masses? 

reconsider your thoughts and actions before displaying hatred in certain ways.

I think it was 24 hours but they need to sync it with the reset IMO and notify people several days in advance.  If marketing is pay attention they will notice I have stopped playing now that my free premium time has expired with the premium  ship, you will need more carrots or make the game more compelling to play.
