I've made a few choices I'm not particularly pleased with on Aslains.

Is there an easy way, or a hard way to change what I have chosen?

Thanks very much for any info.

Select what you want, deselect what you don't want and do a clean install.

One of the things I never liked about these types of add-ons, is that you can see rating of your enemy.  Is he a tomato?  A scrub?  A loser like me?  Real Captains in real wars didn't know the 'rating' of their enemy?  Why should you?  As for me, I prefer not to know until we meet in battle.  I think it's what ruined WOT for me, and I pray WOWS isn't headed down that path.

Now quick, look up my rating so you can neg me.  You're only proving my point if you do...   (BTW, I suck)  There, saved you the trouble...

Eddie,

Aslains last I checked has no XVM like ratings whatsoever.  It is pretty much a collection of ship skins, reticles, and silhouettes.

One of the things I never liked about these types of posts is people talking about things they have no idea about. There isn't a stat mod yet and therefore Aslain's pack doesn't include one. Now quick go look it up. You're only proving my point.

At one time there was a contour icon mod with your win rate but I think that was removed ages ago.  Win rate wasn't very useful anyway in this game there are ships I'm well above average in playing that have 40% win rates.

Never been a fan of general stat shaming, but people need to own their stats as well.  I say general because there are times when someone is talking out their butt and needs a public perspective correction.

This made me laugh :teethhappy:

REAL commanders new almost everything about their opponents.  In fact many of them even knew each other socially in between conflicts.  Even between nations across a wide cultural gulf (like US and IJN) they had intelligence people who's only task was to analyze the commanders they were to face.

There was no MM in WWII.

so it was what, like painted on the sides of the ships??? Be my guest search the players all you want, research away....

Have you checked to see if they are actually in your res_mod files? Also, make sure that they are loaded into the correct version of the res_mod file. With the update a couple days ago, you needed to rename the former res_mod file to the current game version to keep mods working (you needed to rename res_mod version 0.5.0,1 to 0.5.0.2; this will merge the mods into the new, active file).

Look in your resmods folder (res_mods? res mods? I forget) and see if you have a folder titled 0.5.01. If so, rename it to 0.5.02.

Speaking of Aslain's, what are the solid white and yellow circles used for if you use the heading Mini map damage logs and tick the Mini map with ship names and last known position + Damage Log (rework by Atmaxx) Which all I really want is the damage counter but have to suffer through the rest of it.
