Arkansas Beta camo

When my Arkansas beta is in port it appears to have a painted camo design, but I can also upgrade it using the optional camo upgrades for credits. Does the stock camo have any concealment value or do you need to purchase camo every battle to get the benefits of camo? If the design camo does have value which one is it?
