Im hoping its more than the 15k we had last weekend. Or the 5 to 6 k we get at peak on weekdays.

 

what's peak time for you on the weekdays. I see 14k+ everyday between 8pm-10pm est

Yep, i see about 13-14k when i got on  during week.

Question for you guys... 

 

On Blitz, x2+ weekends were a fricken nightmare of hammerheads and idiots with some good talent mixed in. Many guys just stopped playing out of frustration... 

 

Is there any relation to the style / quality of play during the week through the day versus night... or throughout the week versus on the weekend?

same here...on the weekends ive seen maybe 1000 more than on weeknights.

 

maybe OP is west coast playing later on in the night when most players to the east have logged off?

I generally do better before the server reset at 8pm EST

Many quit due to higher population? Many quit due to new player influx? Much frustration over game maker success? Sounds like the game maker was blessed to have those quitters!

dahdah325's post was interesting and helpful.  It does indicate that the player base is stagnant right now.

 

This is somewhat concerning because we saw in WOWP what happens when you don't keep the momentum going on key development projects.  

 

To grow this game we need:

 

1.  Activation of clans, with free agent players (not tied to their Wot clan).

 

2.  Team activities - such as tournaments.

 

WOWP did not prioritize these items and struggled (and is still struggling...)

 

Keep in mind WOT had clans during Beta, and activated clan wars soon after release....and the player count grew steadily after release.

Yep exactly....why would anyone want to provide any input at all on the forums....the game is perfect so everyone should just shut up.....god forbid we have good robust discussion and idea vetting for future development.   Everyone shut up and keep all those good ideas to yourself!!!!

I play mostly early...rarely after 8 or so est. I was a little off. So game goes from 4 to 15k. At any day of week. 15k is still a joke. What i was wondering was what will happen this weekend when other games are released.

we all are glad the other foreign servers have higher population. Because 15k here in usa barely justifies a server.

15k players is as many people play War Thunder, and War Thunder doesn't log you out for inactivity.

Naval ship combat games are going to be niche no matter how you slice it and regardless of what features you offer. It's NEVER going to reach WoW, Eve, GW2, levels of online players. It's WWII combat in slow moving, slow turning, slow firing ships.

We already have the population levels of EVE on line even at its peak.

I look at Warships like 1 Giant MMO Server.

 

MMO servers usually support 7,000-10,000 players and that is being generous for some.    FF14 server maxes at 7,500 - 7,800 and servers are never "Full" Per say.  so most mmo servers i would say have 3-5k on them at a time for the more "Populated" games.

Also consider that the servers are split by region. Assuming all 4 servers had an average of 15K, that's 60K population, which would easily hit Steam T10

Should be a little spike this weekend. All us canucks have thanksgiving which means lots of turkey and torpedoes for everyone !!
