That ship in the hands of a average destroyer player is going to be insane.....

Fixed that for you :P What these destroyers are doing is by no means skillful. It is very easy especially when the stealth window is 7 km and you have a ship that can control the engagement on any ship in the game with its speed...

You could do what these players are doing with a 40 and a smoke in your mouth and 1 hand on your mouse...

Destroyers are one of the easiest classes to use well, all you need is a single perk to inform you of when you are spotted, and just stay out of sight. Smoke for when you mess up.

Torpedoes all day long, Or Gun it if you feel like using the mostly bad USN DDs.

^ if this bull**** is released I will uninstall.

Bad enough they made mid tier CV's worthless, bad enough the high tier gameplay sucks, and it's bad enough they haven't even touched arming distance on CV drops.

If this goes live, there will be so many Destroyers in game they will counter themselves.

Ill free xp past them till T7 or 8, and will take the primary job of hunting these things. :)

I say we all just play them.  let's see how badly we can punish BBs and the new cruisers...... force them to stop playing those lines.

Talk about campy.... you have 1,000,000 invisible HE DPM waiting to light you up.... do you stick your toe out first?

IJN DDs technically like the RU DDs can just never be spotted, but if they don't take risks with closer ranged torps (still unspotted) they aren't going to contribute too much overall to the fight. USN DDs in general have to use a variety of tactics to play them optimally, including that offensive smoke video posted before on reddit. The RU DDs can access an extremely large amount of their potential while playing safe, though honestly with concealment upgrades they can also access their torpedo power if they wanted to. Of course the videos circulating have proven you really don't even need to use them to do well in these DDs.

Definitely a good ship, the guns will be quite insane and easily outgun many warships in terms of destroyers.

Yep, but still fun. I am failing to see how this ship is OP in the least. Saw him firing 13 14 km and lit like a Christmas tree. Granted not firing any farther but it's nice to see DD guns shooting at range without an utterly stupid dub orbital arc.

It will be mostly balanced, and decently fun to play, I don't see much issue.

I'm confused which is it? "Easiest class to use well" or "Mostly bad USN DDs". I see you doing well in T4-5 IJN DDs, that's it.
