So do you guys now need a picture drawn to see that syncing server time with EST is needed? Yadda Yaddda only .5 lost. Still missing the bigger issue. This mid week event was supposed to happen all day today. In reality, it didn't happen until 8PM EST. Giving most people that have a job or go to school limited time at the end of the night to complete it. However you draw your scribbles, this IS an issue. In my understanding 0720 is in the AM and not at 2000 for it to start. Flame on trolls. Get those post counts up.

sorry to those that agree now. My first post on this went 3 pages of calling me an idiot. I apologize to anyone that didn't see that one. I do agree it isn't game breaking, but in the past there have been times 3 and 5 events that a day does make a difference.

I see how it's frustrating you can't always get it done that night but you do have a full 24 hours to get your 1.5s, doubles, triples, etc. I see the issue, I just don't view this as that big of an issue.

That is where you are wrong. The event stops on time at 0720 in the morning. It isn't 24 hours. It doesn't start on time but it does end on time. If you don't think so leave a ship out and in the morning it will be back to 1.5 after 0720.

What get's me is they announce it.... late... and I've already completed the majority of my ships... granted some of those were horrible game's haha but some .....errr.. like 4 were great game's... kinda *sigh*

THANK YOU. That is exactly part of the issue. IF you don't do battles after 8 PM the NIGHT before then you do have the whole day to complete. If you do then you have to wait until 8 PM the day of even though it is stated to start at 0720. Finally people are seeing this.

I do agree that if they are going to do these kinds of specials they need to announce it a bit ahead of time. So players can get ready. Especially when it will suddenly surge players online. Which is also why people don't play Thursday night. Just in case a weekend event pops up.

Eventually WG is going to have to realize Region specific Clients and practices are the only way to resolve these rather stupid issues.

This is confusing about what the problem is.

 

Are you complaining that the server "new day" is at like 8pm EST? Instead of EST morning (like 7am EST)?

dude I work on PST and have even less time it's crap for everyone gone during the day.

I agree with your message OP, but not the way you delivered it. As someone living on the EST, this does bother me at times and I've talked to my friends about it as well.
