I've often made little passive-aggressive jabs at people who had them. Like, "not bad for floating wallet!" and such... BUT, a friend took me aside pretty much convinced me to buy it via logical comparison a few premium planes I purchased in War Thunder and loved.... **cough** Russian B-25 **cough**. You can combat enemy DDs, provide AA for your CVs and duel long range with enemy cruisers. It's a very enjoyable ship to play, definitely one of my favorites including some of the higher tier ships I played during closed Beta. Definitely a money maker. 662 [13TH] HMCS_Devilfish Members 4,901 posts 9,124 battles Report post #9 Posted February 5, 2016 Doesn't really matter because with AFT and spotting plane you have something like 21km range. spotter plane works great when you get the hang of it.. but... at those long ranges your shells are spread out so much usually just get 1 hit unless there stopped... use to shoot at BBs who fired at me from 20+ K and took halve my life ..return fire didn't do much but made me feel better, when I first got my Murmansk the Radom matchup was usualy V.VI.VII..and the BBs were VIII that could shoot 20+ K accurately of late the Random matchup is III,IV.V with the ocasional IV.V.VI.VII go figure how they do matchups Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've had it for a loong time, but got bored with it and don't play it much. I remember seeing it, and getting creamed by it, so I had to get me one of those! Sold the Omaha later on as I saw no reason to have two of the same. I should take her out some more. It is a good money maker. As for the comment on being fragile above, it is an Omaha and as such it has a big and easy to hit citadel. Properly handled and angled, it does very well.
