had to reinstall and now

System crashed totally, thanks to win 10, re-installed win 8 ..... reinstalling world of warships but keep get a read error.

Hard drive is fine no errors ran all the diags. Any ideas as to why it is doing this?

have you installed all drivers and other necessary software? dx, .net etc? it took me a week or two, but i got win 10 running great one i manually updated everything.

 

look up this little app called driver booster, it will scan your setup and let you know if stuff is missing. i tend to not like bloatware, but this is really lite and wont bust up your system by starting with windows or scanning/updating all the time.

you need to manually reinstall the drivers every time you install/reinstall a new Window.

Thank you for replying to my call for help. I used to have a computer biz for 15 years so I am a little computer smart but win 10 decided that every app I put on my none solid state hard drive was not 64 bit compatible. So, I saved everything I wanted from my ide hard drive, low level formatted it and copied every thing back on it and now it is all fine.

Ok, I got everything back up and World fo Warships installed and everything was fine until, I went into settings in Wows,  and found that there was nothing there no selections to make no text no nothing. But wows works just fine but nothing in the setting at all. lolol
