Hello,

I've been playing for a few weeks now and having a blast. I enjoy what the game has now but can't wait to see it grow. See you all through my sights.

What do you call a sailor in the ocean with no arms or legs?

Bob

Yes, welcome aboard.  Any favorite ships or classes yet?  I prefer DD's myself.

Hi I am from Nova Scotia, the Annapolis Valley to be exact.   Ahoy Newfoundland!!!!!!   My father was in WW2 and served on the Flower Frigate Class of Warships in the Royal Canadian Navy, it is a pleasure to meet you.   I also had relatives in New Brunswick; I am playing the game WOWshps in memory of my father.   I am undecided if WOWshps is a good game or not, if you cannot last more than 5 minutes in the game when Sailors in the Royal Canadian Navy lasted some of them for 5 years and came back to tell the tale then the game is flawed.

I like the Destroyers but they should put out the Royal Canadian Navy ships and a line of British Navy ships, there are enough pictures for WorldofWarships to come out with both lines of Warships, the British and The Royal Canadian Navy for there are tons of information on both.

Eric, while making a proud contribution to the war effort Canada would not make a good addition to the game.  They had virtually nothing over destroyer size, and those they did have were acquired from the U.S. or Britain.  They did a remarkable job escorting convoys and sinking submarines (neither of which are portrayed in-game), so while it is certainly appropriate to honor the courage and skill of your countrymen, the upcoming inclusion of the British navy will cover all the needed ships.  I didn't read far enough to know if they designed their own destroyers, if they did it might make a nice premium ship.
