Radio message volume control

The in-battle messages like "SOS"  etc. are blaringly loud and very annoying, especially when some child spams the hell out of it. How do I turn the volume down or, better yet off? The voice volume in the settings section dos'nt do it.

Yeah, having voice messages' volume controlled by the voice message volume setting isn't too much to ask for. It should have been done from the get-go, but it seems like we won't not going to see it happen next patch either:

This.  I too would prefer the option of lowering the volume, rather than disabling them entirely.
