I mean, we've pretty much had the same stuff available aside from the Tirpitz and this current "paypal" thing going on, but we've had no word what so ever on port slots sales, signal flags coming back, and ships like the Mikasa being offered. I'm someone who checks the shop a few times a week to see what is new, but am always disappointed when I see that its the same old stuff being offered. You'd think WG would offer more and different stuff more often to keep people buying things but I dunno.... (main reason I ask is because I'm starting to run low on a couple flags, like the xp booster flag, which has been helping me quite a bit due to playing co-op only. They have indicated that flag bundles sold well back in OBT, so I would not be surprised if we saw something along those lines this weekend. After that, we have the 2 new lines coming out in a patch in 10-11 days, so I am sure there will be some sort of special associated with 5.2 when it drops. The ship just encouraged poor suicide runs and/or torp spam with disregard to friendlies. I was always more afraid of the Kita's on my team than the ones on the enemy side. I would love to see it come back, but the fact is that it was pretty useless. The TKs were largely due to players not knowing how to work with decently ranged torpedoes or how to area deny correctly. She will probably make a reappearance once the average tier is a fair bit higher. Tirpitz had the same issue for half a week, new players bought her and started torping targets way outside of their range, half the time ending up hitting teammates or on the rare occasion killing them, then after the battle sold the Tirpitz because it's "disappointing." Whenever I jump back into my Mutsuki to grind some credits I usually end up seeing at least one teamkill via torpedoes. Last match in my Mutsuki was one of those actually, friendly Furutaka accidentally torped one cruiser by accident and then sunk a destroyer with the one torpedo that didn't hit the cruiser. Kitakami has since CBT seen a number of buffs, for one with every single detection range buff she now sits at about 8km surface detection, with her also getting smoke and turbo she's pretty much just a big destroyer... with a citadel. tl;dr the issue isn't Kitakami's 40 torpedoes, it's people not knowing how to use torpedoes on cruisers, but since the focus on Kitakami is "TORPEDO TORPEDO TORP-" as opposed to Japanese Cruisers which is more "CITADEL CITADEL CITA-", people tend to forget that they have torpedoes on cruisers, not so much on Kitakami. Then use Doubloons to buy Prem time. i like the package for like $14.97 for $3000 Doubloons. 1 Month prem + 500 Doubloons to slowly stockup. Last night i got that $30 package, spent 2500 for a month of prem and have a little under 5k doubloons left. I slowly stockpile doubloons till i want a ship/free Xp past a line. There is a huge protest going on over on the EU server about the price of packaged deals and the cost of other items. Even some of the major twitch guys are pretty upset.
