Relatively new here, from (another) ship-based game that bled me dry.

Wanted to say just how much I enjoy this awesome game.. even if I do suck at it. I'm trying to improve my skills, and have been watching the many popular YouTube vids in an effort to learn the mechanics of this game. If You see me on your team, I apologize in advance for playing crap lol

Welcome aboard captain. Besides the many excellent YouTube videos, there are many guides in the forum on how to operate DDs, CL/CAs and BBs. For CVs, videos are best as the manual drop mechanic, and the multitasking required, are easier to show than to explain.
