Great guns? check. Crazy speed? check. Good AA for a dd? Check. Invisibility? check. Hp? check. And what is the downside of this? Absolutely nothing. Its just disgusting. Don't believe me? Watch Braincage's stream. Even him says its incredibly broken and needs a huge nerf. How can you lose hp if nobody can see you? Who needs torps when you can spam he at 16 km and do 2000 hp each salvo? Unless I'm supremely wrong here They have the worse concealment rating of pretty much all DD they have only pretty much point blank range torpedoes and yeah mid tier are fast as all hell but 3km from T2-T4, 4 km from T5-T8. that really sucks. they have massive turning circles, they are STILL DD's so no armor.... OP maybe in really skill hands but they are not going to be these OP ships. everyone thinks they are going to be. Your going to have to develop some serious new tactics to be really good in them. It was like an invisible Cleavland was locked onto me. I hear they have awful torps but who needs torps when you can just stand off fully cloaked. 483 ZombieFlanders Beta Testers 2,327 posts 3,235 battles Report post #14 Posted October 6, 2015 WG has made alterations before. if my gremlin is any indication, i bet modules will be very weak leaving them as sitting ducks. also as mentioned, they have really bad torpedoes and long detection ranges i thought. in skilled hands they could be really OP, but so could just about any other ship. i will wait for them to be released to judge. I'm not sure what range they can stay at while still firing but I know Braincage was shooting an Iowa from 11km and wasn't seen. I hate to say this, but the russian bias is a thing Spotted easily - Check Squishy turrets - Check Poor torpedos - Check. AA is basically irrelevant for DD's The Speed makes them harder to maneuver.
