I am one those people if I don't see it on the first page or second page, I am gonna make my own. People posting pointless comments about how this thread already exist, So what? If your gonna take time to post a reply, why not make it helpful or just move on. Its obviously important to that person and they just want a helpful response (most of the time).

Also, English is not everyones first language. Nothing drives me crazier than people correcting spelling mistakes,  they can spell, wooooopiedidoo. I aint writing a book or addressing congress. Its a on-line game where any short cut/abbreviation works for me, especially during battle. BTW English is my first language, I just cant spell.

Finally, people with more post than battles really creep me out. Go sink Something!

Finally, people with more post than battles really creep me out.

You do realise some people have been posting here for years and there was an in-game wipe just a few months ago, right?

As for english not being people's first language - it's not mine either, but I'm still adequately eloquent in sesquipedalian loquaciousness. Not saying everyone needs to be, but it's still a bit of a weak excuse. If you post on an english speaking forum, it's your responsibility to post clear and understandable english. A typo here and there isn't an issue, as long as the poster can get the meaning across quickly and succinctly. Which isn't always the case.

I know that if I write a topic I should be as a clear as I can be, so that people can read it quickly and know what I mean. Everyone should put in the same kind of effort. After all, how can you expect people to give clear and understandable answers if you can't write a clear and understandable post? Plus, the more effort people have to put in reading your post, the less likely they are going to give a good reply.

No, you're not writing a book or addressing congress; you are writing to lazy, grumpy internet pixel boat gamers who want to put the least amount of effort possible into answering other people's questions.

yea I don't go through all the threads to see if there is already a topic either and nothing worse then grammar nazis's. Im in college to be a lawyer I spend prolly 2 hours to make sure my paper is written correctly so when I get on here I do t to relax so don't care if I misspell anything. What aggravates me the most is the sarcastic people who absolutely have no good advice just want to put people down.

It's not because we have a limited number of threads before the forums stop letting us make new ones. It's because commonly if someone isn't aware of the other threads, they are also not aware of the current state of whatever they're complaining about. So they come in acting like they know better than Wargaming even though they're the least equipped to discuss the topic. Then they need to hear every counterargument that's been said, all in their own thread, because they're too lazy to read elsewhere. So you get two days' worth of ignorant s*** posting where everyone is ticked off at the person, and eventually when they're facing enough evidence that they were simply uninformed all you have left are bad feelings and resentment. And that's if the person is one who is able to see past their frustration and accept reality—that's not always the case.

When I link someone to a thread to which their their own is a duplicate, it's because they should read it. Why should I retype everything that's been said elsewhere because the OP is stubborn? There's a reason websites have links. There's enough entitlement on the internet already: I get wanting to avoid time searching (even though two minutes' effort potentially saves twenty people a minute each if someone gets their answer that way and don't need to make a new thread)—but being so entitled they aren't even willing to go to a thread that's linked for them to see the explanations for why they're mistaken?

It's easy to see why people get salty: this is a sequence of events we see unfolding daily. Now I'll grant you that resentment towards the above issues get taken out on folks who haven't earned that ire. The easy fix for that is to stop the ignorance so the people who are willing to put their time in don't get so frustrated. The right fix is to get the regulars (myself included) to stop pre-judging newcomers. But when nine of ten newcomers arrive with the attitude that they know better than Wargaming and the presumption that they're the first ones to have an idea... that's very strong reinforcement for the prejudice that people who don't bother searching are ignorant blockheads.

More so than tanks even, since you can play 1/3 the games in the same amount of time :)

By the way*

The problem is when the server goes down or something, and there's 4 threads on the front page about the same thing. If you can type' OMG the server is down' I expect you to be able to read 'hey, is the server down' and not make a new thread.

I've been here since Alpha, I only started playing in Open Beta.

Indeed, While I've been playing on the game for quite a long time, many wipes have occurred and most of those battles don't count on my account anymore, while at the same time, my post count continues to go up, without any resets, players with more posts than battles are merely a part of the forums.
