Ship list on sides of HUD?

Noob question -- how do I get my and the enemy team's ships to show up on the hides of the HUD during a game, a la Tanks? I didn't notice an option in game (maybe didn't look hard enough lol), is there a mod that enables it?

Controls section in your Settings, there should be something called "Enable Team Panels" or something like that.
