Alternative USN/IJN Battleships?

So I been looking around the Internet, trying to find other possible top tier BB's for Japan and America but I been having a hard time finding any ships that meet the top tier requirements. Does anyone know any possible blueprints or concepts that might be added to the respective nations sometime in the future as a separate BB line?

Well, there are some BBs (and BCs) that haven't been included in the existing USN and IJN lines, like the Pennsylvania and late 30's South Dakota classes for the USN and the Ise class for the IJN.  But there are also some designs that were never built, such as the early 20's South Dakota class BBs and the Lexington battlecruisers for the USN.  (These two classes were going to be built but were either scrapped, contracts cancelled, or in the case of the Lexington and Saratoga, converted to carriers, due to the Washington Naval Treaty of the early 20's.)

You can visit this thread for an image tree list of possible ships that might appear for the USN and IJN, then start from there (may have to read through the thread as some ships were mentioned but not given a tentatively confirmed tier).  The example tech tree images were based off what has been stated by the Devs themselves, and are regularly subject to change.

 

Something worthwhile to note - They apparently have enough paper and planned designs to give both the USN and IJN:

- 5 USN Dreadnought lines (2 Fast, 2 Slow, 1 Battlecruiser)

- 4 IJN Dreadnought lines (2 Slow, 1 Fast, 1 Battlecruiser)

 

Will those be full lines?  Unlikely.  But partial lines branching off a central BB line is quite possible.

 

Will get get them all?  Here's hoping.
