What part of the game do you spend the most money on?

I find I spend the most on doubloons and credits. The reasons being is my schedule is too erratic to make prem time an economic option. I like the grind a little bit (the quest for the next ship) so I don't like premium ships as much and I don't like going to a tier higher than where I'm at skill wise or have a premium ship at a really low tier. The only time I would buy a prem is if it is something unique that's not on the tech tree and has a unique playstyle. The Yubari would be the only prem I would want to buy at the moment if it was adequate for its tier. 

 

Credits are the area where I always seem to come up short though, so I feel like that's the area where boosting does the most. Also I like the flexibility that gold offers, you can do a prem weekend if you have a lot of time to play or you can free XP past a horrible stock config. 

 

So far I have always went with the $100 gold and credits package for WOWP (regret that one now lol), WOT (gold only), and now WOWS.

Hmmm hard to say. I will likely always buy about $15 per month in gold for prem time and a little extra. I will buy port slots normally only when on sale. If they come out with enough interesting prem ships though that can add up.

prem ships cause i play so much Co-op and i need every tiny credit bonus i can as a result (118.7k dmg in Atago....is 91k.....-22k to repair the 2k dmg hit i took)

 

i'd get prem account, but if work pulls me away for a week then i'd feel like i wasted it.   so just prem ships.

 

(it helps that prem ships....well most.... are fun.  Atlanta at least.   Atago is fun....but not profitable anymore... questioning if i should get another tier 8 prem...or avoid them like the plague)

 

i'd go for doubloons if tier 7 and 8 normal ships could profit or break even in co-op  (they don't.....so tier 6 max for normal ships for me)

 

and honestly...i'm still a little sour at Yubari's horrible state atm...

I buy ~$10 worth of stuff a month, almost always in gold unless there's a premium coming out that I want (which hasn't happened since CBT, as in: no new premium destroyers / or any premium CVs).

Interesting. Whenever I buy, I buy the biggest deal, but then don't buy again for a long time because that's where you get the most bang for your buck. I buy a lot of port slots as well when on sale. To me that's probably to most justified purchase, because I like occasionally going back to that one ship or tank you liked and taking it back out for a spin. 

 

This is kind of a sidetrack, but do monthly purchasers generally like monthly payments for purchasing other things in life or do you prefer lump sum payments. I generally like to purchase things (besides houses lol) in lump sums because it's easier to gauge what it costs to me that way and it's easier to track expenditures.

Generally I like to go up all the lines to about tiers V-VII rather than one or two lines to tier X. So credits can go a ways if you stay in those tiers, but like you said, at higher tiers they start to vanish quickly. I think the spot where I would buy a prem ship is tiers IV-VI. Higher and it's too much opportunity cost of what you could have gotten otherwise and lower I run into noobstoming moral dilemmas.

I've mostly bought doubloons for converting exp on elited ships, though I did have a premium account for a month when the game first went into OBT, also, I purchased a few of the signal flag bundles when they were on sale.

 

I'd like to have Atago, but I just can't reasonably find a way to justify(for myself) spending 50 bucks on one ship, so I think I'll just wait out Takao.

I will only spend money on Doubloons. With gold one can  exchange for the necessary silver for modules & upgrades you want (& for buying the next tier ship).

Never will I spend money to get premium play value - if this makes the grind slower so be it. Far too many players just have to get to the top and ignore the journey.

Never will I pay for a premium ship - these are 'Lollipops for Suckers' - the equivalent ship that one has to research is going to be better. Again premium ships are for those who haven't got the patience to actually work for something (unfortunately the way of most massive multi-player online games these days - solely pandering to children/juveniles).

I'm just going to grind to the ships I want and pay the minimum possible to WG to get what I want (which likely won't even be tier 10 anything - OK, I admit it - I'll want a tier 10 German Battleship). Grrr.

I'll grind on the the ship im on and jump into whatever elited or premium ship and transfer the xp. Makes life better for some ships, Ill probably geta huge bank of xp before doing the usn BB line

I selected just one of the 3 choices when really I do too much of all three. You could make the exchange rate more reasonable. It bites as it is. There is no reason to exchange for coin right now since the rate is so low.
