How to restore game back to default?

Ok i tried out a mod from the fan section and it doesn't work, it just stuck in the loading screen before the login screen, i just want to know is there any way to change the game back to default without having to completely reinstall and re-patch the game?

remove the contents of the res_mods folder

 

if you are installing mods outside of the res_mods folder

 

now you know why that is a bad idea
