Russian Bias

I know a lot of people have said stuff about Russian bias in the past, and mostly I've ignored it and have been keeping optimistic about them being balanced. But this... this is unbelieveable.

Apparently, in the latest patch, WG thought it would be a great idea to give the already OP Murmansk the ability to fly, ram planes, and soar over torpedoes!

 

(When I spawned in, it was floating, but as soon as the round started, it fell into the water, half submerged, and came back up. This was also the game that got me the North Carolina and ended the painful Colorado)

Well... There's already pictures on the forums of USN and IJN ships doing this, so not really Russian bias, even if in joke form.

I saw that last night on the Med map, and chatted to the player that his ship was floating over the water during the countdown.  Was that you?

 

My first thought was, "nice hull form", before the next instant when I realized the situation, then I was like, "wth...?".

 

When the counter reached zero, the ship duly plopped itself back into the water.

Also, the Murmy isn't OP. It has worse hard stats than the Omaha.

I would like to see a little more Russian bias with a complete line of new Russian ships. Hope it doesn't take forever and a day for WG to begin filling up the tree with new nations and ships. Some of us older guys don't have as many days ahead to be so patient.

I remember playing Silent Hunter III and downloading mods to make my sub into a Bismarck that submerged.  Wrecked everything.
