A suggestion for Battleship improvment

So, i have a yamato. I did most of the grind using the least amount of gold possible. While doing the grind, I learned that citadels are the key for a BB success. If you cant get citadels, then trying to get most of your shots on target is the next best thing. But with the RNG style damage that is in place, sometimes you get 1 shell to hit for 6k... or on the other hand, you get 6 shells to hit for 2k. Then every so often, you get a magical citadel and you ruin a ship for the rest of the game.

IMO, i think a better solution to BBs would be to smooth that out a bit. Instead of a spike dpm, what if they smoothed that out, and made BBs more reliable by allowing BBs a more fluid source of damage. Considering BBs have a huge reload time and pretty bad accuracy compared to other classes of ships. Now, im not sure if it would be possible, but what if BBs could do more damage per salvo, rather than having to rely on citadels. Just a suggestion. Let me know what you guys think.

Before the toxic people show up, you play crusiers for sustained damage, and you play battleships for a chance at 1 shotting something.

You might have your opinions on how effective this is as a game mechanic, but that's the mechanic WG has decided on, and is unlikely to change.

BBs, like in real life, run the chance of doing little damage or one shot citadeling.

No thanks.  I still like hitting things hard.

You want to improve BBs? Give them better accuracy at ranges above 8km.
