43 Ambiroa Members 267 posts 1,266 battles Report post #1 Posted September 4, 2015 I currently have tier III, IV, and V ships, usually play without camo, and have a couple of million in credits. Not sure if I am playing this game correctly, but other than the camo, and buying upgrades after research, what else to do with that money? Is it wise to keep them for higher tiers, or better yet, is it almost a necessity for higher tiers?

I play without camo as well just to save those extra credits. Higher tier ships aren't as good money earners either, I know WoT the sweet spot was around tier 7/8 [the old type 59, ahhhh wish I had as good an earner here.] Bank it while you can! For example if u buy a t6 it costs around 7 million fully upgraded with using all slots. The stock t7 cv costs 6 mio. So credits will disappear very fast

Any ship, tier 4 to 6 that you enjoy playing. You'll have to put in a bunch of games in a credit earner, so having it be a fun ship for you is my most important criteria. 55 swarbs Alpha Tester 406 posts 2,799 battles Report post #11 Posted September 6, 2015 if you have prem you wont go bankrupt :/ Until you buy a tier 9 and want to upgrade it and put on modules. Premium might not see you bankrupt at high tiers, but you won't be banking enough to buy the next ship you want.

Keep some lower tiered ships as moneymakers and you should be able to keep up with the costs. Higher tier stuff is purpose-designed to be a money sink, as in WG's other games. The St. Louis, Phoenix, and Omaha are decent money-printers when you get them upgraded and learn to use them properly.
