Torps were dropped far away enough to be armed. Yamato player confirmed in chat. Finished the game with 0 torp damage. Anybody else having this issue? Now all the criers of the OP CV will rejoice because you poor guys got neutered. Hopefully it is a bug and will be fixed ASAP, it sucks because you're basically useless for the time being. Have you tried dropping them further out just to verify they didn't push back the arming distance? Edited September 2, 2015 by 4wilds

Did you have the depth gauge set to low for the draft of the target ship? JK wink, wink.

Also, the first spread on the cruiser was from sniper range.... a sloth would have had time to arm. Edited September 2, 2015 by Pr0fi1er

No, I made the distinction based on the fact that he said Downloaded the update.... hopped in my Midway.... all of my torps passed right through a New Orleans.... 2nd Pass of stacked groups.... they all went straight through a Yamato broadside. Torps were dropped far away enough to be armed. Yamato player confirmed in chat. Finished the game with 0 torp damage. Anybody else having this issue? and with the Midway being a T10 CV my comment was directed towards that fact. Now I understand he may have other ships (I can't imagine he wouldn't) but I was basically saying it looks like the CVs have lost their teeth.

Had this happen before the update three nights ago. I was placed in a 2 v 1 against another midway and lex. Went after first one I found which was lex and dropped what should of been a devastating strike instead all my torps which were all armed passed under the Lex and kept going until they died out. When my planes were halfway to returning to my midway one torpedo finally registered but no others. Dropped on a Baltimore next and basically the same. Three torps should of hit but all went under then one registered when planes were landing. I logged out after that game and fixed the probably. My guess was desync issues
4 Pr0fi1er Members 13 posts 3,378 battles Report post #15 Posted September 2, 2015 Okay it appears that it may have just been a desync. Not a problem with the game.... torps are nominal now. No comment on the operator though - still a scrub.

0 EnduringFrost Beta Testers 10 posts 1,833 battles Report post #17 Posted September 5, 2015 Interestingly enough, this happened while a friend and I were in our Fubukis. All of our torpedoes should have hit a North Carolina but went under it and blew up a cruiser behind it. I am aware this could be a desync, but a desync for who, the server to that particular player or...?
13 Mystrl Beta Testers 136 posts 1,444 battles Report post #18 Posted September 5, 2015 Yep definitely desync. I had a cleveland game today where my guns were firing seconds after I clicked and without the turrets even pointing in the right direction, shots passing right through ships and get hits on open water. Too bad the only way to fix it is to restart the game.
96 [_AFW_] csp0811 Beta Testers, In AlfaTesters 551 posts 8,359 battles Report post #19 Posted September 5, 2015 I concur with the posters saying desync. I've had this happen a lot in my Ranger and Lexington - torpedoes go "under" a ship on our client. The server actually has your torps going far behind the target and missing completely.
