So I emptied the resmods folder that solved the problem but no mods, no shocker there. However if I let the game get to the login screen and move my mods into the 4.1 folder and I got these working. Any Ideas how I can drop the manual process? Flags were re-done for this patch and has a completely new file, wait for the updated version because the old one will completely screw up all flags in the game. So if you're using custom icons, you'll either need to manually replace the icons all over, or hope mod makers do it for you. Skins still work. Tracer mods still work. Altered explosion effects still work. Captain portrait replacers still work. If you just mass-installed from Aslain's and have several different flash-related mods, you'll either have to do the editing yourself or wait for all the modders in his pack to update their mods (icon replacers for item consumables, for example). Nor will I be able to update my shipskin(s) or release my music mod. All of these things are impossible unless I can recover the encryption key (it's probably hidden somewhere in the .exe, which is not particularly easy to decompile by any standard) or unless they give me the encryption key (ahahahahaha no, that's not going to happen).
