Just had a 15000 hitpoint broadside on a Kuma with the Marblehead. 5 citadels in one broadside. Kuma died fast. Will post a screen shot when I can run the replay.

15000 is also about the citadel damage of one battleship AP shell (14000 for one 15in shell)

Japanese cruisers at tiers 3 and 4 are especially vulnerable to citadel hits...Slinging AP when they insist on slinging HE sure feels good...

How did you get Marblehead so quickly?

 

I was watching the live stream yesterday and was picked on one of the 30 at 30. they were saying that it was for the 111 but you could choose if you didnt want the 111, since I dont play WOT enough to justify it I opted for the WOWs code instead and it was the Marblehead it gave me.

Japanese cruisers at tiers 3 and 4 are especially vulnerable to citadel hits...Slinging AP when they insist on slinging HE sure feels good...

 

I use AP unless they are at an angle that they are bouncing my shots then I switch to HE. But I have been finding even with Heavy Cruisers against bbs that are side on that AP is the way to go. Been getting nice damage rolls on BBs as well with AP.

Mentioned this a few times, but the IJN cruisers are also susceptible to DD AP.  5k damage per salvo every 4 seconds ftw.

Scored 7 citadels and a bunch of other AP penetrations on a Pensacola with a 155 Mogami. Dead in one salvo.

Yeah, 203mm AP is surprisingly effective against BBs. You can even citadel lower tier ones (tier V and under).
