I won my first two attempts at 2x experience.... one being a brutal game in the Kuma, so then I logged off. Not going to tempt fate.

Co-Op mode is quite relaxing.

 

I was surprised at how the AI was changed over those 2 months. It seemed to be much smarter then before. But overall, pretty good weekend.

I got PAXMARBLEHEAD fairly easy, average damage is up about 600 & my winrate is up about 1% so not bad at all

letters letters and letters...  only one E left to get.  (Damn E's are rare)   Played the 4.1 PT a lot too.  in the main game, pretty much got the exp I need for the base North Carolina which will get me out of the Colorado,  also got enough exp to get my Myoko so I am going to have to buy another 2 port slots this week   Good job I have some 25 million credits to equip them with.

 

Am looking forward to playing my FuryTaco when 4.1 hits after playing it some on the PT server and see how the PT transfers to our server and also spent some time running my minikaze with the option 1 torps to get used to that post 4.1 as well.

 

My win rate refuses to improve because I'm a baddie  but my K/D and kills per game are just about hanging onto damn average.

 

Sunday was a bad day out of the game and flipped out at some friends by end of day which was unforgivable, but will be back today and in my usual insane mode.

It was a good weekend. Got the 2x on all my ships, some of them even on the first try. Got it on the first try with the Yubari, which never ever happens. 

 

Got most of the PAXMARBLEHEAD, just need the H. Came close to it a few times, only to have the kill go to someone else at the last second. I usually don't care who gets the kill, as long as the ship gets sunk, but this time it was just painful. Especially the Atlanta, I wrecked it with my Aoba, got it down to under 1k hit points, and someone else puts in the last shots 2 seconds before my guns were reloaded. 

 

Also got enough XP for the Ranger.

I was going to go for the letters but after a number of battles where I couldn't find a player with an "X" anywhere in their name, I decided to actually live my life and enjoy what's left of the short summer we get here with my family instead of chasing another mediocre pixel boat for my fleet. Glad some of you found your X's and I hope you enjoy your new ship!

Got an X in my first game.  So that was nice.  Got all my 2X exp and finally broke my massive losing streak.  I do keep getting thrown into teir 9/10 matches in my Colorado and wow is that a helpless feeling.

 

Played a PVE round to see if bots got better (and tried to grab some easy letters) and I burned a Kongo to death.  The bot stopped at an island, and then went back at forth at like 3 knots.  It sat there for a good 3-5 minutes until it died, all alone, and my team won quickly only losing two ships.  Bots are still very bad.

Lots of losses and draws also. Fun watching the wows_captain's in high tier ships getting ruined in the beginning of the game thus sinking my teams chances.

Weekend play was good, but the PAX MARBLEHEAD thing started to piss me off.  I found myself getting really frustrated about not getting into matches with an E.  In matches where there was an E and they got destroyed before I could get to them I felt like logging right then.  Fortunately I was in my Omaha  most of the time and take pride in her stats so I continued the matches, but that felling was powerful.

 

I really hope in future WG thinks a little bit harder about how contest like this play out.  I division with guys that have some the required letters and they chose not to even play this weekend as result of being on the wanted list.  I really don't think that is a good thing for anyone.  At very least they should consider giving anyone with those letters the ship automatically for the pain they put those players through but it's clearly had effect on some of the hunters as well.
