Pretty much yeah.

That one game where everything goes perfectly was what kept me playing through all the bad games in WoT for so long, kicked that habbit about a year ago though.

 

Now I am just waiting for more ship variety (namely, German and British ships) and I will be playing this game a lot

Oh god, a great game in the Yubari! Lets hope the devs don't see this, it'll give them a reason to make that thing worse than it already is!

IKR? Last night I was 0/8 in it. I wish I had a vid it was just one of those perfect matches you can't screw up. Me and my bro slipped up the middle and got to their base, found both carriers. I ended up nuking a DD on the way. Got both the CV's and as I moved into the base there were two South Carolina's, one heading into base one away. I slipped around the other side of the island and surprised torped him from 3km away. Did a U-turn and did the same to the other SC then rolled into the cap and parked. Our Langley managed to sneak by DD hunters and got into the cap with me and that's how we won.

Best I can manage is 1200-1700 most of the time. unless I get lucky in Gremy or Warspite. But Yubari just feels a lot different since Open Beta started, what I fell in love with about the ship is not there, or deeply buried and waiting to be let loose.

We do a house rule where only a nat 20 is a crit regardless of weapon type and it auto confirms. Keen will make it 19-20.

Oh lord 2.0.  But fun was when a guy I was playing with was a paladin who rolled a natural double 20 as a level 10 and killed an adult red dragon. Even the DM was like "ok, have to give you this one" 

 

Then the next encounter, he rolls a double 1. Oh the hilarity that ensued.

Currently playing in a game of original DnD... some module that Gygax wrote about some evil in a desert or something. Supposedly very very brutal for a level 5 adventure.

I liked when they came out with the mega modules that combined 3 or 4 with a continuing storyline. Temple of Elemental Evil, one with slave lords and giants, and one underground with drow elves where you end up running into Lolth.

I had a game like that in my New York (I'm at work so I don't have access to my screenshots), best game I have had. My first thought was "MY FAIL STREAK IS FINALLY OVER!!!!!" 

 

Yeah...no it's not, not by a long shot.
