Erie or Hasidate?

Which ship is generally considered better? As I am planning to buy one back.

Id say Hashidate, it's just overall better!

Right now? Hashidate is probably the better of the two. Word is 4.1 will see its HP nerfed to be much closer to the Erie, so it'll probably be a wash at that point.

IMO, the Erie is better. The 152mm guns seem better for citadel shots.

both are pretty much free except for the port slot I think. I'd go Erie if I wanted to do that though.

I would choose the Hashidate because of her 2x2 guns and of course shes a little faster than the Erie and fires a bit faster however, the Erie has more FP compare to Hashidate.

I prefer the Erie, I use the 127's on her and dpm my way to victory

Only problem with the 2x2 is if someone hits a turret, you're out half your firepower.

I find Hashidates easier to citadel, so be sure to buy it

The Erie works pretty well for me, but according to WarshipStats overall data, most people do better in the Hashidate.  Given that most people play an average of 3 battles and move on, that may not be a good gauge of ship potential.  

The best player in Erie: avg. damage: 24,495, KD: 7.88

The best player in Hashidate: avg. damage: 30,861, KD: 12.6

 

Looks like Hashidate is the tier 1 clubbing vehicle of choice.

I liked the Hashidate personally, the double barrels were fun. I don't really think either one is significantly better though.

With Erie's SIX inchers, you are more likely to have better penetration power as well more shell damage. You have .5km range over Hash for guns. Hash is .6km less in detection range. Erie has better rudder response time. Hash has a tighter turn radius. Hash has more HP. Erie is a little better protected.

It's all come down to personal taste.
