Crit rate too high, repair time too long.

It seems like I cannot play a match without taking several crits not including fire. I just finished a match where my damn propulsion was knocked out 3 freaking times. You wanna save the repair team for fires but can't sit in the open so you use it then BAM! next shot knocks the engine out again AND set's on fire. Now you just sit and burn and pray you don't die. Thankfully I survived long enough to use the repair team again to fix my fire and engine (engine was a 90 second repair time that is way too long) just to have it SHOT OUT AGAIN WITH THE VERY NEXT SHOT. This is every match that either my rudder or propulsion get knocked out multiple times, and don't even get me started on the fire chances. Crit rates need to drop, repair times need to be shorten.

This was a cruiser. And I do take every skill that lessens repair times or shortens the reload time of repair team but this weekend has been extra rough. I get it's a beta which is why I brought my feelings here and to see if anyone else was experiencing the same or what opinions they have. Also it seems like the IJN ships take more crits (I cannot get through a match in my IJN DD's without at least 1 gun being destroyed)

You're also an "E" and with everybody trying to spell "Marblehead" for the free ship, needing two 'e's, and the relative scarcity of us "e" types... guns will be extra pointed your way.

Get a BB, hand the secondary gunners a double ration of rum and go in knowing you're gonna die while trying to light a few people up along the way :izmena:.

Played 3 more matches. Engine shot out 3 times in first, 2 times in second, and another 3 times in third. I did not get any incapacitation at all in any of those matches either. I'm getting really sick of RNG heavy games where I watch other players nail the 20's over and over while I keep coming up 1

I'll second this.

Anyone with an E at the start of their name is running for their lives.

I'm not noticing being shot at more than usually just that every salvo seems to do some sort of crit and I can't seem to crit a damn thing.

You don't say. Had an Aoba drop torps from 6km away. I tried to scope out to see the path to dodge then the game just kept scoping in and out over and over and I couldn't stop it and died.
