Myoko torpedo upgrade

The description says that It adds +2 torpedoes, but where do they go? I still shoot 2 sets of 3 torps.

I don't get it then. I can shoot 3 times from each side or what? I am confused. I got the upgrade, but I still able to shoot 2 times from each side.

All the upgrade does is give +1000 damage and +3 knots speed. The +2 to the torpedo stat just means your torpedoes are slightly better than they used to be

He's talking about the 11,000 exp upgraded torps that are slightly better than the stock ones, I think
