Originally it was supposed to be a PAX-floor exclusive like the pin, later Nyx made the competition for forumites as a form of apology since we are going to have to wait longer than the other servers for the Tirpitz/Mikasa sales. More people are lining up for it then tanks from what I can tell, and that makes sense. They have no playable warplanes this year either.
