Your programming of matchmaking is horribly bad and will kill this game. Armored Warfare blows your matchmaker out of the water. So does War Thunder. WG discovered some critical last minute bugs with 4.1. WG can release the patch anyway and get yelled at for releasing a patch before it is ready. or WG can fix the patch and get yelled at for not fixing the mm right away. I am glad I am not WG. The thing is they are making some real mistakes here and there and they are probably not listening to us because of this kind of junk. Heck I know I wouldn't. Just go check out the forums of Battlefield, Mechwarrior, War Thunder, Online Chess, ect, ect, ect. I can't take a lot of these posts seriously. As others have pointed out, that match up didn't look that broke to me. A 2v1 carrier disparity is noticeable, but that is one of the things that is being changed in v4.1 (carriers will always be mirror matched to another of the same class in version 4.1, aka a Hosho and a Langley will be in a game against another Hosho and Langley). A two tier spread is standard for all 'World of' games. and it isn't as if you can't do anything in battles like that. Unlike World of Tanks. You are still quite capable even when out tiered. You got out played, happens to all of us at least once a day. Not really anything to complain about. I will say that battleships do get a three tier spread currently. and you will see tier 9/10. But I managed to take a Yamato down to half health in a Colorado. Sure he killed me, but I hurt him badly for it. Just got to know the capabilities of your ship and that of your opponent. Because the game part is fun. It's going into a game with a massive disadvantage that ruins things. WoT has done a good job of sticking around, it's true. Now think of how much better off it would be if the MM didn't piss off a large percentage of the players and drive them away. The real killer is that MM doesn't seem like it would be that hard of a thing to change. Wargaming seems to LIKE the idea of the players getting into matches where they are massively outclassed. Maybe they think it will get people to buy more doubloons and premium time to get past the grind to rank X. All it really does is piss off the average player and make him spend his money somewhere else, it's not like the market is wanting for games. Personally, I've been trying to get a decent game to test my new Wickes in, and I have gotten nothing but max tier rank V crap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
