How much has WGNA pissed you off lately?

In light of the uproar about the Tirpitz, WGNA's "marketing plan", the NA game convention ship just being a clone, lack of communication on game mechanics, and other things. I anted to make a poll so WNGA knows full well how most of their community feels about the job they are doing.

Not at all. Nothing unreasonable going on. Game is great development is moving along. Looking forward to buying the Tirpitz. Life is good.

TBH I don't really care as long as I get Tirpitz in the next few months I am happy.

Three things, The Atlanta and Atago being removed without us being notified, as well as Warspite Removal and the Tripitz. Other than that, its a good game, would like to see the playerbase similar to the numbers of WoT at prime time.

Tirpitz; another source of money for WG, people only want it because it's famous. They're going to cry about how bad it is.

 

Marketing Plan; WGNA's job isn't to make best buddies with everyone that plays their games, they're trying to get to game to as many people as possible, who will probably pay money. PAX is a good source of those people.

 

PAX Contest Ship; At least everyone that completes the contest gets the ship, why aren't you mad about the Murmansk, which is also an Omaha clone, and is $14? The Marblehead is free.

 

Game Mechanics; Yeah, this one is a bit more present, there's not a whole lot of explanation on how the game works. It's still very much there, but the most valid of your points, at least IMO.

Ehhhh. I'm not angry. I'm annoyed at the lack of communication, meaning that we have to go digging through other clusters to figure out just what the heck is happening. Hardly something that makes me mad though. I have better things to devote my energy towards.

Nothing new for WG. We are a cash cow, nothing more. We don't have the numbers but we pay a lot per person. We don't have any other real options, and they know it. Notice how they are only talking about arty changes in tanks now that the other game is coming out with better arty mechanics?

 

Same reason the game is horribly balanced for our NA game play. We don't play like their base. We just have to accept a game that is designed for the lowest common denominator and that we do not count. Everything else is a bonus. Not bad or good even, just the way it is, and their business model works. We have a choice.

The different deals and when prems become available for each server does not bother me. The lack of communication in WoWS and WoT on the NA servers really angers me. It has gotten to a point where I am cutting back on the time I spent playing both games. My money is best used else where.

Well most people got the Murmansk for $1 with the humble bundle, but also at least it was for a different nation, and up until 4.1 was better than the Omaha. I still think it's crap to sell clone ships THIS early on, but USSR did not have a lot of real ships to pick from.

Last I checked, the Atago and Atlanta were available both in-game and in the store, and the Warspite was always going to be a special availabiliy ship. We will get access to the Tirpitz soon enough; I am already dreading the t8 battles full of faux-Kreigsmarine captains who have no clue how to play t8. 

 

As far as player numbers, it has been fairly steady at primetime for months now, without any advertising by WG. This game is somewhat more of a niche market than even Tanks, so I am not sure that it will ever be quite as big as WoT. Than being said, I don't think WG will have problems growing the population in the near term.

Angry... eh not really anymore. After 'Humblegate' I've decided that Wargaming is not a company I wish to ever give any more profit to. I'm simply here for the free entertainment and my money will go to the next company that makes a more realistic and enjoyable naval combat circa 1880-1950 game. I'm hoping it will be game labs once Naval Action gets established.

The following is my opinion. Some may agree and some may not. Some may call me an idiot and other also may not. Thats all your choice, All I ask is respect my opinion as I do yours.

 

As a Army Vet, i have served proud so all can have the choice to say what they want when they want to and now i'm going to impose my right to do the same. That being said.

 

I do also get tired of hearing the I have to have it now or else, its unfair that they get something now and we have to wait, if we don't get it now i quit or wont spend any money. Bottom line is thats all a part of life you dont always get what you want. There are times you do have to wait. You may not agree with all the decision someone or a company makes and thats great, again your choice.

When I post I try and be constructive as possible, try to be light hearted, and show respect to all no matter what. 

 

Now do I think how they market to the different regions is fair, maybe not, but its their company and they feel this is the right way to run it whether we like it or not.

You may not like the explanation we get from the company and again thats your right. Do we have the right to voice our opinions on how its run, sure we do. Will it make a difference maybe and maybe not. Most the time it all depends on how our rants, criticisms, or the good job we offer are viewed.

 

Do I believe there are things in the game that need to be fixed, added, buffed, nerfed, YES I do. Am I going to make threats of quiting or withholding money, NO i wont.

I enjoy this game as that, a game. My time to relax and have fun. I will spend what i want when I want as that is my right no matter who agrees or don't. I do feel we on the NA server will get things maybe not as fast as we like but it will come. Di I fweel at times we get forgot about, yes I do. We also may get items no other server will be offered. Time will tell and we'll just have to wait and see.

 

Again, this is my opinion as i'm sure everyone has theirs and it will be different from mine.
