How many ships should I keep in port?

I have 5 premium ships (Sims, Atlanta, Gremy, Murmansk, Atago) and 7 regular ships (Nicholas, Cleveland, Mustuki, Aoba, Myoko, Ryujo, Mogami) in port now.
I already sold 3 premium ships (Albany, Arkansas and Yubari) because I don't enjoy playing them. I do enjoy playing the ships I have now.

It's  a lot "1.5x" to do everyday and I  only have about 2 hours per day to play, but I also felt bad if I just left them in port and ignore the "1.5x"s.  How many ships should I keep?

I stopped worrying about getting the "dailies" a long time ago in WoT (where I have around 135 tanks).  so keep as many as you want.

Keep all of them, but instead of trying to get the 1.5x on all ships, focus on 1 or 2. That way you'll get better.

First rule is keep what you ENJOY playing.

It's a game. Have fun. If you don't enjoy a particular ship/class, get rid of it/them. Keep only what is fun!!

^^ Pretty much this.

I also like to be sure to hold on to at least 1 good ship from each tier if you plan on divisioning.  Keeps things balanced and prevents you or a buddy from getting dragged to a tier you don't belong in.

Keep premiums.  Keep anything you like playing.

After that, it depends on what you want to accomplish/prepare for.

I'm keeping at least 1 ship for every tier in case they intro tournaments or other team based events I want to participate in.

I have close to over 100 tanks in Wot. As ted said, keep them all. And play just a few that you feel like playing. There is no reason to sell ships/tanks you like just to make room. Need more room? buy slots

I decided to sell yubari after I saw the planned buff. I feel that buff is pointless. Yubari's biggest problem is it's too fragile, the aa buff doesn't change it.

Ya know that Yubari you just sold is about to get buffed next update, right?

I keep em all. Im a collector.

Everyone is different, here is what I do:

1.  Keep all premiums.  Even ones you don't use.  They make good trainers, and maybe one day they will improve them more, they might buff one, and if they ever give one away that you already have, in WOT you get gold.  If you sold it for credits, then you would just get it back again.

2.  If port slots ever go on sale, stock up.

3.  Once you have unlocked the next ship in the tree, consider whether you enjoy playing it, and if so, keep it.  If not, sell it unless you are a collector.  I tend to sell the ships I don't like.  Example, I hated the South Carolina, sold it.  I love thd Omaha, will never sell it.

4.  Consider moving captains up, becomes more important at higher tiers where everyone has captain skills.  This becomes a problem if you keep a lot of ships.  I have been using the StLouis to train new captains up to skill level 10, she is on her 3rd captain at the moment.  10 is important because you can get a level 4 skill.  Or two level 3s and 2 1s.

Gotta disagree. I sell tanks I don't like or ones that I'm just not good with. Get some credits back with them and free up a slot. No reason to buy a slot just to keep I don't like and won't play again. Although I will keep tanks that have two paths branching off if I didn't research both. That way I can eventually go back to them.

Why would you sell real money ships for fake credits... You could have played them 3 once  week and made the credits instead
