GTX 550 ti best settings

I'm wondering what are the best settings for the gtx 550ti in combination with an AMD A10 7850k to achieve maximum detail and FPS

650 ti also runs at 60+ fps at max settings.

you want good IQ but want eye candy to disable for FPS. there is no easy answer...

 

id start by setting the global quality to medium. leave AA on (FXAA is very low in resource use) and set your resolution and aspect ratio. then set triple buffering and to vsync 'off' (both of these setting tie FPS to refresh rate of your monitor, the opposite of trying to gain performance). see how it goes. if youre averaging 40 or so FPS then try raising settings to high and see what happens (one at a time). no loss in FPS, go higher or move on to another setting. lose some FPS, that setting has a big impact and maybe you can do without. 

 

generally, shadows/particles/"effects" will have the biggest FPS hit. id leave 'soft particles' and 'animate small objects' off.

Does the game cap out at 75fps? I lowered the graphics and its still capped at 75fps
